Short Description:
Every year VAFI will have a partner of the Festival – either a country or an author. In 2010 author – partner will be Borivoj Dovniković. Every year children from one school from Varaždin will be hosts to our national and international guests. VAFI has three categories divided by age. Every category has its name: MINI - children under 10 years, MIDI - children from 11 – 14 years and MAXI - youth from 15 – 18 years. VAFI will award five prizes per category, from which one will be the first prize and the other four will be equal second prizes. The winning films will be shown through the following year in the movie theaters across the Croatia in corporation with Croatian Film association with the intention to promote children`s and youth`s film creation.
