Notes/description: "We have founded VAFI – International Children and Youth Animation Film Festival in desire to make Varaždin and Croatia a place where children and youth, professionals, our guests and all animation lovers will be able to exchange their experience and make new friendships beyond their own states; a place where children and young people will enjoy films; where they will learn and associate at the same time. Festival have three main categories: MINI (made by children to 10 years), MIDI (made by children from 11 to 14 years) and MAXI (made by youth from 15 to 18 years). "
From 2014 on VAFI is not only an international film festival for animated films MADE BY children and youth, but also a film festival for animated films MADE FOR childen and youth which will be competitive.
Films can be submitted in two competitive sections:
VAFI JUNIOR (for young authors)
VAFI SENIOR (for adult authors who makes animated films for children and youth).
